Pune Platform for COVID-19 Response
Pune Platform for COVID-19 Response (PPCR), led & coordinated by Dr. Sudhir Mehta, is a volunteer group of members of civil society who came together to minimize the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak in Pune city and its surroundings. Through coordinated action, the multi-stakeholder group aptly named Pune Platform for COVID-19 Response (PPCR), exemplified meta-leadership abilities to cope with the crisis.
From raising funds to channelizing resources, from distribution of ration kits to arranging ventilators/HFNOs and from training medical staff to counselling citizens, PPCR has proactively pursued the cause of supplementing government efforts and helping the system sustain the pressure.
With the pandemic waning, the Pune Platform for Collaborative Response (PPCR) is aimed at improving the quality of life of Punekars and contributing to the socio-economic development of Pune. Incorporated as a Section 8 company, Pune Platform for Collaborative Response (PPCR) has adopted an integrative approach, leveraging existing activities of partner organizations and plugging gaps to enable tangible ground-level impact. Through constant engagement with this model, PPCR seeks to create meaningful change in Pune’s development footprint.

Accessible Healthcare
In India, public healthcare has seen a significant transition during the last several decades. Though evident in urban areas, there is a significant disparity in rural areas. Lack of awareness, no access to contemporary amenities, and rising costs continue to influence rural India’s health and well-being. Pinnacle Industries believes that health is of paramount significance. As a result, it strives to provide healthcare facilities through its different efforts on the ground.
Initiatives include but are not limited to stretcher donations, medicine donations, menstrual hygiene awareness workshops, donations of menstrual kits, and blood donation camps.
Women Empowerment
Women must be empowered for a country’s economic and social development to be successful. Women’s Empowerment is at the heart of Pinnacle Industries’ social efforts; we want to help women live with dignity and reach their full potential.
Donation drives are held at Sewadham Ashram, Maher Ashram, Rainbow Homes, Kinjal Foundation, Kamal Nayan Bajaj School, and St. Michaels Girls Orphanage & Hostel.
Rural Development
According to World Bank figures, more than 65 per cent of India’s population lives in rural regions. Despite government efforts, these places have inadequate access to sanitation, water, health centres, elementary and secondary education, and other infrastructure, preventing them from contributing to the nation’s growth. Pinnacle Industries strives to help rural people improve the quality of their life by providing them with access to education, skill development, and financial assistance.
